Module 2 of this 3 week course delves into more detail of the Morphology of the Insect and introduces the student to the various Taxonomic Terms used in species identifications.

The external morphology will be covered to a greater extent compared to Module 1 and will look at the variability, adaptability and functions of each insect feature.
The head (Week 1), Thorax (Week 2) and Abdomen (Week 3) will be examined and discussed in detail.

Introduction to Entomology Course NIOE-10M.
Insect Morphology and Structure Module 1 NIOE -11M
